Gallerists is art inventory software for galleries and advisors. Each work gets one record with its image, tombstone details, price, status, edition and location, and every offer, viewing room and invoice reads from that record. Change the price once and it is right everywhere.
In many galleries the inventory is a spreadsheet that started with one artist and grew to hundreds of rows. Dimensions are in inches in one column and centimeters in another. Status is a color. Location is a note. Editions are rows that someone copied and edited by hand.
It works until the day it does not: a work that was sold shows as available, a hold expired a week ago and nobody released it, a collector asks for a work that is at the framer and nobody can say when it comes back. The registrar knows the answers, but the registrar is one person.
Every work is a structured record. You can create it from a photo, from a CSV import or by duplicating a similar work.
Artist, title, year, medium, dimensions in inches and centimeters with automatic conversion, edition number and edition size, price, status and current location. Gallerists formats the tombstone line the way galleries write it and keeps the image, installation shots and detail images on the same record.
A work is available, on hold, sold or consigned. On the Gallery plan and above, a hold has an owner, a collector and an expiry date, and Gallerists sends a reminder before the hold ends, so a work is never offered to two collectors at once.
Record where a work is: the gallery, storage, the framer, an art fair, a loan. On the Program plan you can manage multiple locations and storage areas and filter inventory by place.
Gallerists drafts a short AI catalog description from the image and the details you entered. It is a starting point: you edit it, approve it, and only then does it appear on an offer or a viewing room.

Yes. Export it as CSV and import it into Gallerists. You map your columns to record fields, review the result and then save. Images can be added in bulk after the import.
Yes. An edition record holds the edition size and each numbered impression or artist proof, with its own status and price, so you can see at once how many remain available.
