Art inventory software for artists who consign to galleries
Gallerists is artist inventory software built around consignment. Artists who work with galleries need to know where every work is, under which terms it was consigned and what has sold. Gallerists gives represented artists that view through the gallery's artist portal, and gives artists who place works with several galleries a Studio account to track their own consignments.

Works in five places and one spreadsheet at home
A working artist may have works at a primary gallery, a few pieces with a second gallery in another city, something at a fair, a loan to an exhibition and the rest in the studio. Each gallery reports in its own format and on its own schedule. The artist keeps a spreadsheet and hopes it matches.
When a gallery sends a statement, the artist has to check it against their own list by hand. When a collector writes to the studio about a work, the artist is not always sure whether it is still with a gallery.
- No single view of works across galleries
- Consignment terms that are hard to compare
- Statements that arrive in different formats
- Uncertainty about what is available and where
Two ways artists use Gallerists
Through your gallery's artist portal
When your gallery runs Gallerists on the Program plan or above, it can invite you to the artist portal. You see the works you consigned to that gallery, their status (available, on hold, sold), the statements calculated from your consignment terms and the sales. You do not need your own subscription for this, and the gallery controls what it shares.
With your own Studio account
If you place works with several galleries or sell directly from the studio, a Studio account gives you your own inventory of up to 250 works. Each work has a record with images, dimensions in inches and centimeters, edition, price, status and location, and you mark works consigned to a gallery with the terms you agreed. Your CV and bio live on your artist record.
Send work to a gallery
From your own account, build a branded availability list or a private online viewing room for a gallery or advisor considering your work, straight from your records.

Do I need my own subscription to use the artist portal?
No. The artist portal is part of your gallery's Program or Enterprise plan. Your gallery invites you, and you sign in to see your works, statements and sales at that gallery.
Can I see works I consigned to galleries that do not use Gallerists?
Yes, in your own Studio account. Mark those works consigned, note the gallery and the terms, and update the status when the gallery reports a sale.
Can I import my current spreadsheet?
Yes. Export it as CSV and import it into your Studio account, then add images in bulk.
Is the AI catalog description published automatically?
No. It is a draft on your record. You edit it, approve it and decide where it is used.
