Artlogic pricing for small galleries and what a year really costs
Artlogic's public pricing page lists its Gallery Full Platform from £156 per month on Essential and from £311 per month on Professional, with the Expert tier priced on request. Over twelve months that is at least £1,872 or £3,732 before currency conversion, and team size, extra modules and website sales fees can raise it. For a two to five person US gallery that already has a website, a back office tool priced per gallery in dollars, such as Gallerists at $74 per month billed yearly for five seats, usually costs a fraction of that.

Artlogic pricing by plan
Artlogic sells its software as a full platform bundle or as separate modules. The figures below are the "from" prices shown on artlogic.net/pricing in October 2026, in pounds, which is the currency the page shows by default. USD and EUR toggles exist on the page, and a third party listing on FitGap quotes the Essential bundle from $205 and Professional from $409 per month, so expect the dollar quote you receive to land in that range.
| Artlogic product | Starting price | What the tier includes |
|---|---|---|
| Gallery Full Platform Essential | From £156 per month | Up to 25,000 artworks, 200 website artworks, 5,000 marketing emails a month, 1,000 marketing contacts |
| Gallery Full Platform Professional | From £311 per month | 500 website artworks, 50,000 emails a month, 10,000 marketing contacts, sales pipeline and reporting |
| Gallery Full Platform Expert | Price on request | Unlimited artworks and contacts, multiple billing entities, a dedicated account manager |
| Website Essential | From £42 to £53 per month | Up to 200 artworks, viewing rooms and online store, 3 percent ecommerce fee |
| Website Professional | From £70 to £120 per month | Up to 500 artworks, password protected pages, 2 percent ecommerce fee |
| Marketing Essential | From £11 per month | 1,000 contacts and 5,000 sends a month |
The word "from" matters. Artlogic says prices scale with team size and that quarterly and yearly billing are available, so the number on your quote depends on how many people use the system and which modules you add.
What a small gallery actually pays in a year
Take a typical small program: four people, around 600 works in inventory, a website that already exists, and offers going out every week. On Artlogic, the realistic starting point is the Gallery Full Platform Essential bundle, because it is the cheapest route that includes the database, offers and a website. That is £1,872 a year at the lowest listed price. If the team wants the sales pipeline and reporting tools, Professional starts at £3,732 a year.
Now compare what the same gallery would pay for a back office only setup.
| Tool and plan | Price per month billed yearly | Price per year | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|
| Artlogic Gallery Full Platform Essential | From £156 | From £1,872 | Depends on team size |
| Artlogic Gallery Full Platform Professional | From £311 | From £3,732 | Depends on team size |
| Gallerists Gallery | $74 | $888 | 5 included |
| Gallerists Program | $249 | $2,988 | 20 included |
The difference is not only the number. Artlogic's bundle includes a designed website and email marketing, and if you would otherwise pay a web studio and a newsletter tool, that value is real. The honest test is whether you would use those modules. A gallery with a site it likes is paying twice for the website.

Costs that do not show on the plan card
Subscription price is only part of the total. Before you sign anything, ask every vendor about these.
- Ecommerce fees. Artlogic's website plans list a 3 percent fee on Essential, 2 percent on Professional and 1 percent on Expert for sales through the site.
- Email volume. Marketing tiers are capped by contacts and monthly sends, so a larger mailing list moves you up a tier.
- Team size. Prices that scale by team mean a new hire can change the bill.
- Onboarding and training. Directory reviewers mention a learning curve, and staff hours spent learning a system are a cost even when nobody invoices you for them.
- Switching cost later. Confirm in writing that you can export works, artists and contacts as CSV or Excel at any time.
Payment collection is the other quiet cost. Galleries that invoice collectors and wait 60 days for payment often lose more to late invoices than to software. If that is your situation, automated invoice follow ups by email and text do more for cash flow than any change of gallery database.
Cheaper alternatives to Artlogic and what they cost
Artlogic is not the only full platform. ArtCloud publishes US dollar pricing per user per month for its Gallery Manager: Essential at $99 with 200 artworks, Professional at $132 with 25,000 artworks, and Expert at $193 with unlimited works. Its gallery website plans are separate, at $77, $174 and $303 per month. For a four person team on Professional, the manager alone is $528 a month before a website.
Artwork Archive is aimed mostly at artists and collections, and directory listings show its organization plans starting in the $24 to $29 per month range. It is a strong catalog, but it is not built around gallery offers and consignment.
Gallerists prices per gallery instead of per user. The Gallery plan includes five seats, 2,500 works, offer PDFs, 20 live viewing rooms, a collector CRM, holds, consignment records and invoices for $74 per month billed yearly. It does not design a full custom website or send newsletters. We compare the two products feature by feature on our Artlogic alternative page, including the areas where Artlogic is stronger.
How to decide whether Artlogic is worth the price
Write down what your gallery did last month and price only that. A short list usually settles it.
- Do you need a new website this year, or is the current one fine?
- Do you send newsletters from your gallery software, or from a separate tool you already pay for?
- How many people need to log in, and will that number grow?
- How many works are active, and how many are archive?
- Who sends offers, and how often?
If the answers are new website, yes to newsletters and a growing team, the Artlogic bundle is reasonable value. If the answers are existing website, separate newsletter tool and three people sending offers, you are paying for modules you will not open. In that case start with art inventory software and offer PDFs that run from one record, and add more later.
